You just fell for this new pair of shoes; you want to try them right away, but horror, these labels stuck on the right, on the left on your new favorite pair ruin your life? Or do you want to peel off a label from a glass bottle, but when you scrape it off with your nails, it goes to shreds?
Yes, we have all experienced this kind of frustration … but the WD-40 Multi-use Product is here to help!
There are of course other ways, such as peeling off a label using a hair dryer or with olive oil, but these processes are sometimes long and the oil will tend to grease the area. With the help of a cloth or sponge, the WD-40 Multi-use Product allows you to peel off the label in a few sprays without leaving any residue of glue or grease. It will be very effective for example to remove the sticker from a shoe, a vase, a jar of jam, a glass or plastic bottle, a CD / DVD cover, the bodywork or still from a window!
A microfiber cloth
A sponge
A scraper (optional), or a substitute object (round tip knife) to peel off the label more easily
First, have a clean, dry cloth and a WD-40 Multi-Use Product. Then shake the aerosol so that its components mix and make the product as effective as possible. Hold the aerosol upright (unless you have the new aerosols that can be used upside down) and spray the product generously on the label to be peeled off. Ideally, use the extension tube to more easily target the area.
Once the product has been sprayed, let it act for a few moments so that the label can be peeled off easily. Indeed, the WD-40 Multi-Use Product will come to act under the label, under the glue. By letting it act well, it will be able to peel off the label by placing itself between the surface and the glue.
Now you can pull a corner of the label, it will start to peel off easily. If the sticker is stubborn, use the scraper (or a substitute) to scrape off the adhesive residue. With the action of the WD-40 Multifunction Product, residues should be more easily removed. Spray the product again if the label is really stubborn for more effective action.
Once you have peeled off the label, wipe the surface with a sponge or a damp cloth. Then, rub the area with the microfiber cloth to make the surface clean and clean again and thus remove the last residues of glue. Lo and behold, your object is sharp as if the label or sticker never existed!
